God has blessed us with three beautiful boys! I am in awe! I am in shock!! I am so unbelievably thankful!!
April 8th came somewhat suddenly (even though I was very anxiously awaiting it), Ryan and I were up well before the sun was and we headed into Cody to greet our third boy. My mom had flown in the day before to help out post surgery and she had an awesome morning with our big boys! The surgery went so very smoothly (and really fast!!) and all of a sudden our beautiful Rygby Joshua was out in the world and 7 pounds 7 ounces, 21" of Harder boy perfection. The Cody hospital was fabulous, the nurses and doctors were all wonderful and we had a great experience. Thankful that God provided us with the team that He did. We were in the hospital for a short two days and while it was nice to begin recovery in the hospital, I so missed my boys!
Coming home was nothing but joy! The boys were so excited to have their baby home (the first night I was in the hospital Ryne asked if I was coming home, when he discovered I wasn't he asked if they could take Rygby home with them.) Ryg hasn't quite figured out how to stay awake during the day for longer than about 30 minutes at a time...so, lots of naps for him!! The big boys are adjusting well and just seem to be rolling right along with the fact that we have a new person living with us.
My mom, Karen, left yesterday to go home after an awesome nine days with us, so thankful that she was able to come and help while we adjusted to a brand new baby, she made dinners, helped me clean, did laundry! Such a blessing to have my mom around. Ryan starts his spring break today, they wrap it around Easter which is a great thing for us this year!, and he will continue staying home with us through the end of the month. SO thankful! I feel pretty dang awesome after having surgery but two busy boys and a newborn is a taaaaaaad much and slightly daunting at this moment. Ryan's parents will be joining us at the very end of the month for a few days. It is so nice to have family come over!
Below are a couple pictures from the hospital, some of mom's last day, and a "photo shoot" of the brothers yesterday on an unmade bed. It's slightly ridiculous trying to get pictures of the big boys with Ryg, trying to make sure they don't jump on him or kill each other in the meantime. It makes for a LOT of blurry pictures. They are still adorable and I love them!!! (Ryne asked why I took a picture of Rygby's back...because it is so beautiful and wrinkly.) I hope you enjoy them!!

Ohhhhhhhhh, my darling husband. Back in mid-November my beautiful friend Katlin and I decided to rid ourselves of facebook. Since then I have been asked to get back on to share pictures of the boys and keep it as easy as possible to share our lives with those we love. Which I completely understand! Who doesn't love being able to catch up with those we love in one easy stop?? Especially when they live far away and life is busy. I did not tell Ryan of my plan to BRIEFLY get back on facebook, so I can simply get in contact with those I did not before ditching fb almost six months ago. (It was a quick decision!!) So, tonight when he saw that I had logged back in he gave me a little crap.
My plan is to simply be on for about a week and go away again. But, oooohhhhhh my word how quickly you can go from one person to another, admiring pictures and all the beautiful families on there! It's like a black hole.
We are now less than 36 hours away from our wonderful Rygby making his grand debut!! SO excited, too meet this beautiful boy who has been abusing the inside of my stomach for the last few months...excited to settle into a new routine of a life with three little boys and being a family of five. I am overwhelmed with how blessed I am to be leading the life I do. God is so good.
Last month Ryan and I celebrated (in a very humble way) our ninth anniversary and just a couple of weeks ago (not entirely sure of the date) was ten years ago that we met! I cannot believe how fast those ten years have gone!! It's amazing to me all that we have been through and God has created in us a wonderful relationship (struggling a bit here to express my gratitude) and brought us through so much together. We could not have done this without Him being the center of our relationship.
We recently had an amazing (although quick) visit from some of our closest friends from Oregon! It was incredibly refreshing and just what we needed to help push us through the end of winter into spring. The boys were overjoyed to have their friend Koen here and their loving Auntie Erika and Uncle Justin. (Slightly heartbroken when they left...) All the same, it was so wonderful to have them here and see our little town of Greybull and share a couple of meals together. So blessed!
Ryne finished wrestling, not necessarily on a high note, but he remembers it fondly and still loves to wrestle daddy so, it's all good!! He's only four and he had a blast hanging out with the other kiddos, so we are incredibly happy with that.
Rytan is getting over another cold as I type, he's been a little gross...but extra snuggly!! So I don't mind. He is a little comedian and his facial expressions are classic, I hope you get to experience them soon. We have had amazing weather and we have spent as much time outside as we possibly can. They LOVE being outside and we are all especially excited for summer and time in Oregon!
Until next time my friends!! (Which will bring pictures of RYGBY!!!) God bless!!
Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and will not be afraid; for the Lord God is my strength and my song, and He has become my salvation. Isaiah 12:2
